Took my parents aged 76 & 80 to UniverSoul circus 7:30pm show. my father has oxygen and a walker due to a pass stroke. The help staff at circus were very courteous and provided us with wheelchair service for him to his seat and afterwards to our car in the parking lot. The show was AWESOME, have attended Ringling Bros with my children 38 yrs ago and at RBC 3 years ago alone....there is No comparison!!! My father related the last time he attended a 'tent' circus was when the circus was on Lenoir/Rocky Quarry road(he was a boy). All of us enjoyed the interactive parts of the show as well as the professional performers. The elephants-beautiful, the tigers-whoa- the mixed animal act-great(didn't know that camel get that LARGE)! MC Tone-Cool! ZEKE, YOU THE MAN! only drawback was hawkers constantly in the viewline during the show. Would love to take my grands in CA....expecting twin grandbabies here in Raleigh; can't wait until they are old enough to go.

The Circus was great, my first time going to the circus was last year when it came to Raleigh, NC. I most say it was better that what I expected each time. I really look forward to coming again next year. I really enjoy myself. Not only did I buy a ticket for myself this time, but I bought four more tickets and tooks some friends. Next year they to will but more tickets and take more friends.

It has been about 3 yrs since I last attended the circus, but I knew I would not be disappointed. I am so glad you come to Raleigh and hope that you will still make us a part of your tour for many years to come! The entire show is great, but my 2 absolute favorites are the Rough Riders and the Sheer Romance act. The young lady that goes AROUND the horse is so awesome, and the sheer romance act is just that, sheer romance. Great job! Continue to keep up the good work, and be safe in all of your travels!

I attend with my church youth group every year and everyone had a wonderful time. This was our first time attending on Gospel Light Night because it is during the week and the children are in school but we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially meeting Pastor Shirley Caesar and Zeke. The show as always is AWESOME. The ringmaster is excellent as always involving the audience. If you have never attended, you are missing a treat. Anita from Fayetteville

I have attended the Universoul Circus in Raleigh,NC for the past 3 years. I was a bit disappointed in this years show. I definitely missed the energy that the Caribbean Heat Dancers brought to the show. I enjoyed as usual the visits from Zeke as we had box seats on the front row and he frequented our box. This year I left away from the circus with a blahhhh feeling.

I recently moved to north carolina from virginia and it was if I smelled the universoul circus coming to town. I looked up the tour dates and voila! I had to be there! By far this is the best show on earth! I took a few cousins from north carolina who had never experienced this particular circus and they were very impressed. Tony Tone and Zeek are great! This circus is so personal and soooo us! I will follow you guys no matter where I move. Please keep this circus alive, our people need this type of entertainment!

I attended the show for the first time and thought it was great. I also throughly enjoyed the Sheer Romance segment and the Twisted Soul segment. My only drawback was that we were seated in what I guess is considered the back of the ring and the ringmaster never acknowledged that section. Otherwise it is definitely a show worth seeing again.

We took our church youth group to the March 15th show in Raleigh. We had an awesome time. I had seen the UniverSoul Circus on HBO but never live. Everyone that attended young and old alike marveled at the acts and how much different this circus was from RB&B. We are planning another trip to the UniverSoul Circus at others request. Keep doing what you are doing by allwoing us to come together and experience different things in a positive light.

Oh, my God this show was better than what I had seen on TV.I attended the show on yesterday (March 16, 2008) in Raleigh. I was there with my daughter, my mom, aunts, two of my daughters little cousins, and her dad. It was like being a kid all over again. You guys did an excellent job and what a treat to see us such a diversity of people. I hope that next year I can take my students especially since I teach Social Studies. This would be an awesome way to find out about culture and diversity. Keep Doing What You Do!!! Job Well Done!!!!

My family and I have been to the UniverSoul Circus since 1998; our first show was in Atlanta. When we moved to Raleigh in 2000 the closest show was Greensboro. Luckily, within the next two years a show started coming to Raleigh and we have not missed a show yet. What do you have to do to be able to meet all the performers? My children are now 21, 16, 14 and six (6), but the first show from 1998 still lives within us all. Please, continue to do what you do and we will continue to come. We have tried different times and days of the week and so far we have no complaints.

Hi Soul Circus,

After seeing your show in Raleigh in 2007, I decided to go back to my hometown and spread the word about you. That led me to organizing a bus trip of 47, which we exceeded that number and had 92 people to purchase tickets. All in my group enjoyed the show. A few of them had been a few years ago, but really enjoyed the show.

On a personal note, my husband and I went in 2007 without children and we really, really enjoyed it. In comparison, we think that the 2007 show was better than the 2008 show. We clearly could see that the 07 show had more acts and less animals and the 08 show had more animals and less acts. Although the 08 show was good, the 07 show really left us in AWE! of the whole thing. I spoke to some other people that I know went to the same show in 08 and they too stressed that they enjoyed it better in 07.

My hat goes off to you all for this miraculous show. Keep up the good work. Looks like I am going to have to organize another trip next year because those that went this year have been telling others that did not go and now they are telling me to let them know when it comes back again next year.

There were two groups from my area that went to the 08 show. My group sat in section J and the other group sat in section D. If the circus employees and others noticed that, there were many seats vacant after the first half it was not because they did not enjoy the show. The week before the circus our local high school basketball team won the semi-finals and played the championship game the same day at 2:30 p.m. in Chapel Hill, so a lot of people from those two groups left the circus after the first half to go and support our high school basketball team. I hope someone from the circus reads these comments because I do not want them to think people left because they were not enjoying the show. In fact, when it was time for them to leave, they really did not want to miss the rest of the show, but because they wanted to support our high school team is the reason why they left early. This was the first time in the history of the school that our team has gone to the championship, so it was very important to support them. We did not win the championship but at least we got there.

Thank you again for putting smiles on all of our faces and I look forward to seeing the show again.

Be Blessed

The show in Raleigh, NC was great! My 3 year old was completely engaged as was my 6 month old. This show was well worth the time and the travel to attend. What can we do to get you to come to Fayetteville, NC?

Hello, I've been attending your shows for 5 years and the BEST show was when the female clown turned out to be a beautiful singer (2002 or 2003). I was disappointed this year because of expecting a gospel explosion and saw two mime people performance. Also this show didn't have the usual theme or message at the end. Overall I will continue supporting your shows and good luck in the future!

My neice took me to UniverSoul Circus for my birthday ( i turned 34) I had a wonderful time. The show was fabulous. My favorite part was the rough riders. I especially liked when the young lady went under and around the horse. That was AMAZING!! I can't wait until they come back to Raleigh. Hopefully i can get my church youth group to attend. Once again, I had a ball.

I started out attending the show when it came to Charlotte in 2001, and I've been a faithful advocate of the show ever since. I must say that I was disappointed in the show for not having the gospel finally that normally takes place at the end of the show. Even though it's difficult to top the year when you performed a skit to Lean on me by Kirk Franklin, but I was expecting more especially for the finally. Overall the show was good, but compared to previous shows it could have been much better. I will continue to support the show and I must say that I just love to watch Zeke in action. Be blessed and I look forward to seeing you next year.

I attended the UniverSoul Circus for the first time this year and it was all I imagined and more. Each act was amazing and Tony was great! My nieces and nephews were so amazed, I think I will make it a yearly tradition. What can I do to get you in Greenville, NC?

My family and I attended the circus in Raleigh on 3/15. We have attended the circus for the past 9 years. This year for the first time I can say that we were a little disappointed. Where was Onionhead? You know you need Onionhead! We missed the lessons that each act taught. I would like to see more old school r&b,more old school gospel. Zeke is da man!. I would love to see Maybelle,Cal or Shuckey Duckey back under the big top. But we are die heart Universoul circus fans and will be back as long as there is a circus!!

I finally got chance to attend the show after years of missing it. I will never miss it again!! Tony tone & Zeke reminded me of Family as well as Ebon, The contortion Kids were amazing & lets not forget the Music. I would love to be part of this Group making people laugh & smile while they spend there $$.
May God Bless & Keep you safe in your Travels,
Wayne Hubbard

This was my third visit to the circus. I loved it more and more each time. I love your music choice and the different display of talents. However I did miss the guys on stilts this year. What happened. Keep up the great work. I love the diversity. One thing....I have asthma and a lot of the kids do that attend your show. How about some ventilation during the show or less smoke from the fog machine.
