Do you recognize these guys?

If you've been to the show you might have noticed that the young men who perform with Onionhead the Clown in our Pizza Posse act are also from our comedy trapeze group. Many of the people who are part of the cast and crew of the UniverSoul Circus are multi-talented.

Wandi, Lucky and Soviso, the Pizza Posse crew, are also dynamic acrobats. Lucky (not seen in this photo but you can see him in previous blogs) first came to the UniverSoul Circus as a contortionist. They are all originally from South Africa.

Have you seen their performances? Let them know what you think by posting a comment below.

Our new mime...git er' done

We had such INCREDIBLE fun with Jon Wilson of FOX Charlotte who joined us in our tent yesterday morning to feature some of our performers.

But he had us all laughing when our gospel mimes, Lewyn and Summer, painted his face and he dubbed himself "Larry the Cable Mime."

Stars...They're Just Like Us

They learn how to play baseball for the first time!

Taking a page from celebrity magazines we wanted to share an adorable photo of Norbert Tounguino a member of our contortionist act "Twisted Soul." Backstage after his performance he received a gift of a baseball, bat and glove. He turned out to be a natural!

Some of our crew and talent jumped in and helped him with his form. Including (below) Joey, who handles our lighting and Summer, a member of NG Mime.

Happy Birthday Paula Murphy

We want to send warm Birthday Wishes to USC Executive Paula Murphy!

Have a wonderful Birthday! We love you!

-USC Family

Hello Norfolk

Tonight we open in Norfolk, Virginia but Norfolk residents might have seen us all over town this morning.

UniverSoul Circus favorite Zeke and our contortionists "Twisted Soul" appeared live WVEC-TV (ABC) during the 12pm newscast. Another group of performers got a chance to visit with the kids at Sprately Middle School and also performed for the residents of the Lucas Lodge Adult Day Care. There was also a wonderful story in the Virginian-Pilot today!

Thanks for such a warm welcome Norfolk! If you haven't picked up your tickets please do so soon. (Click the link to the right that says "Purchase Tickets") This is a show you don't want to miss.

Baltimore "Platinum Lovers"

These Baltimore men deserve recognition for their involvement in our "Platinum Lovers" segment of the show this past week. They were really feeling the moment and we hope that the men in upcoming cities (Norfolk starts Tuesday) will be just as enthusiastic.

Yesterday a group of UniverSoul Circus performers spent time with students at William C. March Middle School in East Baltimore. We thank them for having us. We were also honored to meet members of the March family. By the way, did you know that the UniverSoul Circus CEO, Cedric Walker, is from Baltimore?

The song used by the Gospel Mimes

A number of you have written to us asking about the name of the song used by NG Mime, our gospel mimes.

The song is...."Language Medley" by Donnie McClurkin.

It's featured on his album 'Psalms, Hyms & Spiritual Songs: Live.' (that's the album cover above).

What did you think of NG Mime's performance? Let us know!
